Description
Defensores de Belgrano Foot-Ball Club was the name given to the latter, and its purpose was to share leisure afternoons practicing the new sport in what was called "Oliver's Estate" (later Plaza Chacabuco and finally Plaza Alberti), a vacant lot that they took it upon themselves to prepare. This, the first pitch of the nascent club, was located between Nahuel Huapi, Arcos, Guanacache, and O'Higgins streets, very close to the railway tracks.
